With this new product, finance teams can now securely approve and execute payments entirely within a unified AP platform. This capability is expected to simplify the entire payment process.
The Medius Payments offering includes Straight Through Payment (STP) functionality that allows payment batches to be generated and executed directly from Medius without needing ERP file uploads or middleware. Payments are routed through customers’ existing bank accounts, providing them with better control over their cash flow while streamlining disbursement. Additionally, the company will continue to focus on meeting evolving client needs and regulatory requirements.
Key Features of Medius Payments
The solution supports multiple payment methods across various regions including ACH, SEPA, BACS, CHAPS, BankGiro, wire transfers, checks, and virtual cards. It also incorporates multi-currency and international capabilities to enable consistent and compliant payments globally. Key functionalities include embedded approval rules, fraud detection, and audit trails designed to reduce exposure to fraud risks and enhance payment visibility.
Integration with the customer’s ERP ensures a synchronized audit trail supporting compliance and streamlined reconciliation processes. This holistic visibility from invoice receipt to final payment allows finance departments to operate more securely and efficiently. Suppliers can also benefit from faster payment processing and improved remittance information, which helps optimize cash flow management.
Broadening Finance Operations
This launch is part of Medius’s broader strategy to eliminate fragmentation in financial operations while providing full visibility from invoice receipt to payment settlement.
