NCR Atleos Corporation has been chosen by Lloyds Banking Group to deploy its ATM as a Service technology in the branch modernization process.

Atleos specializes in self-service financial access, boasts extensive experience with ATMs, and maintains one of the largest independent ATM networks. The company enhances operational efficiency for financial institutions and supports retailers while providing digital-first self-service experiences for consumers.

Lloyds Banking Group is a retail and commercial financial services provider based in the United Kingdom. To refresh the branch experience and streamline operations, the bank teamed up with NCR Atleos for an initial pilot at branches in Manchester and Glasgow. This effort incorporates Atleos recycling technology that includes coin-in and coin-out functionality, along with transaction processing and engineering services. By modernizing these locations, branch personnel will no longer be responsible for managing ATMs, freeing them to focus on customer engagement and relationship building.

NCR Atleos specialists will manage hardware, software, logical security, installation, maintenance, cash forecasting, and processing at key strategic sites. This approach is expected to improve ATM availability while enabling rapid rollouts of new features and functionalities.

According to NCR Atleos representatives, this pilot project with Lloyds Banking Group aims to simplify back-office complexities and enhance reliable self-service experiences. These improvements will help the bank better serve its customers more effectively and efficiently, as well as increase access to cash and other crucial financial services.

Other Collaborations by NCR Atleos
