The certification standards include security requirements for biometric sensors and accessibility features for PIN entry, thus optimizing the internal security of Ingenico’s AXIUM SX5000 terminals. This certification was secured due to the way its new product’s software and hardware were designed with a strong emphasis on long-term security and frequent updates. The certification is valid until 2035.
