DCSL is collaborating with Prime Bank Limited (PBL) on a project known as the Prime Cash program. This initiative, which caters to more than 76 percent of Bangladesh’s population of about 150 million, seeks to enhance access to banking services for those who currently lack such facilities in both rural and urban areas.

To facilitate this, DCSL has set up DG-ePay Service Points across significant public locations nationwide. Individuals can sign up and create their accounts at any of these service points. Transactions are secured through biometric authentication methods, where the Gemalto smart cards store personal facial images and fingerprint data collected during registration.

The Gemalto solution supports various financial services including account opening, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan repayments, and remittances.
