Telcom Provider DNA Enhances Cybersecurity with Google Security Operations in Finland

In a recent move, telecom provider DNA has announced its plans to bolster cyber threat monitoring and response capabilities for its Finnish customers through a partnership with Google Security Operations. This initiative aims to further strengthen the existing collaboration between DNA and Google Cloud that was initiated in February 2025.

The strategic alliance enables DNA to migrate local workloads to Google Cloud, aligning with its cloud-first strategy and ensuring reliable and efficient services for customers. Under this partnership, a Security Operations Center (SOC) supported by Google Cloud is established, providing enhanced threat response while reducing overall security costs.

DNA allows corporate customers to acquire the SOC solution based on the Google Security Operations platform as a security service. Customer data stored within the SOC solution must comply with specific requirements and is therefore hosted in Google’s data centers located in the EU.

Representatives from Google Cloud highlighted that this partnership showcases how DNA and Google Cloud can leverage their expertise to provide advanced security based on AI, automation, and threat intelligence for customers. By collaborating, both companies aim to equip security teams with better tools to tackle current and emerging threats more effectively.

The key capabilities of Google Security Operations include:

• Data collection from various sources across a customer’s digital environment.
• Threat detection by combining collected data with information from threat intelligence for effective identification of potential risks and threats.
• Investigation leveraging case management, search, collaboration, and context-aware analyses to examine any detected threats.
• Response utilizing automated action plans and case management, with AI providing summaries and recommendations based on the cases.
