Ant International has integrated Antom, its merchant payment and digitisation services provider, to enhance its AI functions in the merchant payments domain.

The company’s AI agent, Antom Copilot, now offers expanded functionalities including payment integration, onboarding processes, risk management configuration, and chargeback solutions. This enhancement was unveiled with the launch of Antom Copilot 2.0 at Ant International’s Alipay+ GenAI Cockpit in 2024.

New features on Antom

Addressing a common challenge faced by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), who struggle to actively respond to chargebacks, the new Chargeback AI Assistant from Antom Copilot 2.0 aims to streamline dispute resolution and revenue recovery processes for both SMEs and e-commerce platforms. This tool generates customized response strategies based on case-by-case analysis, providing support in documentation, success rate evaluation, defence preparation, and post-care assessment.

Preliminary tests indicate a 3% increase in win rates, alongside a reduction of 46% in the time spent on dispute resolution.

For reliability and accuracy, merchants can undergo reviews and manual verifications directly through Antom. Additionally, users receive tailored recommendations regarding payment methods, acquiring services, and integration solutions based on their specific needs and industry trends. This helps accelerate the deployment of local payment methods with reduced resources.

The platform also introduces AI-assisted onboarding processes, leveraging multimodal LLM features to extract merchant registration documents. Risk management settings can be configured using natural language prompts, making it easier for merchants to implement AI-powered fraud detection tools.

Notably, Antom Copilot 2.0 has been found to accelerate integration by over 90%, utilizing techniques such as CoT reasoning, SOP automation, and AI-generated code in conjunction with LUI and GUI interfaces.
