Affirm Partners with Optty to Enhance Merchant Solutions
Following this announcement, Affirm has teamed up with Optty. This collaboration is expected to help businesses worldwide offer Affirm’s flexible and secure pay-over-time options through a single API integration.
Both companies will continue to focus on meeting the needs and preferences of their clients while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
According to the official statement, Optty, which provides access to more than 145 payment partners in over 140 countries and 120 currencies, aims to optimize customer experiences. Affirm will work alongside it to improve its solutions and accelerate development within the industry.
This partnership follows recent strategies by Affirm, such as expanding its deal with Williams-Sonoma into the Canadian market. The US-based retailer now allows Canadian shoppers to use Affirm’s pay-over-time options when purchasing from Williams-Sonoma’s brands.
Earlier this year in May 2025, Costco, a US-based retailer, introduced a buy-now-pay-later option for its clients via the Affirm payment network. Customers can opt for repayment plans starting at USD 500 up to USD 17,500 with flexible monthly intervals of 6, 12, or 18 months.
The initiative ensures that once customers agree on a plan and make purchases, they can repay Affirm interest-free without late or hidden fees.
