Upon placing an online order for a new product, customers receive a QR code via email. They then use their smartphone to scan the QR code and upload the front and back of their ID. Additionally, they record a video selfie and sign using either a stylus or their finger on their device. The necessary contract documents become available in the customer’s My Sunrise account once identification is completed.
The face recognition process is first verified against the uploaded ID document within the Sunrise back office. To ensure privacy and security, no data is stored on the smartphone, and the entire procedure adheres to the strict Sunrise Information Security Management System, certified to ISO 27001 standards.
