Financial technology firm Payoneer has entered into a strategic partnership with Stripe to enhance the online checkout process for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) worldwide.

Expanding Online Checkout Offerings

This collaboration will allow Payoneer to extend its Online Checkout services for cross-border merchants, enabling them to sell directly to consumers. The initiative is initially being rolled out in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, including China and Hong Kong.

The updated Payoneer Checkout features, backed by Stripe’s technology, will support a wider range of payment methods through online webstore checkouts, including buy now pay later options like Affirm and Klarna, as well as digital wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Since the launch of Payoneer Checkout, there has been notable growth, indicating strong market interest. The partnership aims to boost customer conversion rates, increase payment acceptance, and help mitigate fraudulent transactions while providing more flexible payment options for SMEs selling directly through their ecommerce websites.

Additional Collaborations

Furthermore, Payoneer has also partnered with Nequi to offer more flexibility to global entrepreneurs. This collaboration allows Nequi users to enable the new service and transfer their USD and EUR from Payoneer to Nequi securely and efficiently in COP (Colombian pesos).
