Akurateco has formed a strategic alliance with enza, an African payments company, to enhance the delivery of digital payment services throughout the continent.
Under this collaboration, Akurateco will supply its white-label payment orchestration platform, which will serve as the backbone for enza’s broader initiatives aimed at increasing access to financial services and simplifying digital transactions.
enza is a fintech initiative spearheaded by the EMP Group team. Its focus lies in creating an interconnected and easily accessible payment ecosystem across Africa. Operating in over 40 countries, enza seeks to promote the adoption of Embedded Finance, improve cross-border transaction capabilities, and create new revenue streams for banks and commercial institutions.
enza Plans Accelerated Product Launch
Akurateco’s PCI DSS-compliant platform will enable enza to rapidly roll out its services, reducing the time and resources needed. This infrastructure-as-a-service model allows enza to focus on customer-oriented development rather than building core payment systems from scratch, thereby facilitating more efficient expansion of payment options.
enza’s officials stated that the technical partnership aligns with their mission to provide flexible and reliable transaction methods for both merchants and consumers. The collaboration is anticipated to bolster enza’s overarching objectives related to financial inclusion and innovation in Africa.
Akurateco representatives noted that this partnership fits into a broader initiative aimed at promoting economic growth in underbanked areas by supporting the necessary technical infrastructure for modern payment systems. They emphasized that Africa’s transition to digital finance will rely heavily on adaptable and scalable platforms capable of catering to the diverse and fragmented market.
