Peach Payments Launches Enterprise POS Terminal with Secure Payment Methods

Digit Pro, a new portable terminal developed by Peach Payments, is set to be launched for South African mid-size and enterprise customers. This device aims to provide businesses with a flexible payment solution that supports multiple methods through a customised checkout flow.

Transactions processed via Digit Pro will appear alongside other merchant transactions on the Peach Payments dashboard, regardless of the payment method or even across different buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) options. Peach Payments remains committed to adapting to the evolving market needs while ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements and industry laws.

Peach Payments recognized that demand for enhanced payment flexibility, better business management through integrations, and streamlined operations was increasing among merchants. To address these demands, they developed a single solution encompassing both online and physical store environments under the Digit Pro program.

The Digit Pro is designed to be fully customizable with bespoke apps and a library of plug-and-play applications, allowing for tailored sales processes that include stock takes, rewards programs, and order management. It supports a wide range of payment methods such as Apple Pay, Payflex, RCS, 1Voucher, Capitec Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Float, and Mobicred, with more to be added in the future.

Currently available for South African merchants, Digit Pro is planned for expansion to Mauritius next year. The availability of this product in other regions will depend on each country’s specific regulatory requirements.
