Global fintech Unlimit has expanded its existing principal license with Visa in Mexico to include card issuance for its local offerings. This collaboration allows Unlimit to work with co-brand partners such as financial institutions, retailers, or other fintechs to launch payment products across Latin America more efficiently.

Unlimit’s co-brand solution simplifies the integration process and accelerates the development of white-label financial products through API-driven technology. The company’s suite of services includes payment processing, card issuance, BaaS (Bank-agnostic Services), and multi-currency business accounts.

In Mexico and throughout LATAM, fintechs have significantly contributed to financial inclusion. According to a Mastercard study, the number of fintechs in the region has surged by 304% since 2017, with over 3,000 companies now operating across 26 countries. This rapid growth is enhancing access to banking and financial tools.

In March 2025, Unlimit further expanded its capabilities by partnering with Doto to boost payment approval rates and support Doto’s market expansion.
