ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions has introduced a new payment solution called Worldline Pay by Link. This innovative method is designed to provide a secure and seamless way for customers to make payments both online and in physical stores.

Users can apply directly through the website, and once approved, they can log into the ANZ Worldline Merchant Portal to create a unique payment link. They can then easily share this link via text messages, chats, or emails without needing any coding skills or integration work. Additionally, merchants have the option to enable surcharging to cover their acceptance costs.

Key Features of Pay by Link

Worldline Pay by Link supports a wide range of payment methods including eftpos, Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, AMEX, JCB, Alipay+, PayPal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. The solution is designed to be user-friendly, allowing businesses to easily customize the payment pages displayed when links are opened with their brand colors, logos, and order descriptions.

To address concerns about clicking unknown links, ANZ explains that customers should expect to receive a link from their trusted business partner before proceeding. This makes the method safe and reliable. Each shared link includes a clear reference back to ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions for easy recognition by shoppers.

Transactions are secured using real-time 3D Secure 2 authentication, which helps manage chargeback risks and reduces liability for fraudulent transactions.

Through this launch, ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions aims to offer merchants a diverse array of secure payment options. Pay by Link can be used as a standalone service or integrated into their existing ecommerce gateway, Worldline Global Online Pay.
