WFF and Salv’s Collaboration

We Fight Fraud (WFF), a consultancy that specializes in financial and cybercrime research, has chosen to partner with Salv. This partnership is designed to facilitate the sharing of intelligence among financial institutions operating across Europe.

WFF conducts extensive research aimed at uncovering the tactics criminals use to perpetrate financial scams. By identifying vulnerabilities, WFF helps banks and fintech companies better protect their customers from such frauds. Through this process, WFF also uncovers fraudulent and money mule accounts.

Key Features of Salv Bridge

Utilizing Salv’s platform, known as Salv Bridge, WFF will be able to share critical intelligence in a compliant, secure, and structured manner. Salv Bridge was developed specifically for collaborative financial crime investigations and supports various activities such as authorized push payment (APP) fraud recovery, collaborative anti-money laundering (AML) investigations, automated request for information (RFI), and suspicious international bank account number (IBAN) monitoring.

According to company data, over 100 banks, fintech companies, and payment service providers across Europe are currently using Salv Bridge. This platform enables alerts with a true positive rate of approximately 90%, leading to recovery rates for stolen funds as high as 80%.

Representatives from WFF

In response to the partnership, representatives from WFF highlighted that the integration of Salv Bridge will significantly enhance their ability to share crucial signals in real-time. This efficient sharing of insights is expected to lead to faster interventions and robust protection for customers.

Salv’s Latest Initiative

At the start of 2025, Salv announced the opening of an application process for its next cohort of partners focusing on cross-border APP fraud and mitigating activities by criminal organizations. This latest initiative aims to address the challenge of scaling APP fraud in Europe, where Salv Bridge was introduced in 2021 as a collaboration platform for fraud prevention and recovery. Over 70 financial institutions currently benefit from the use of this platform.
